"Easy access to safe and clean water for healthy lives"

To lessen the water problems, and for equitable, efficient and sustainable use of water in 79 villages of Kadapa and Kurnool Districts. We have drilled more than 90 borewells with Handpump for Easy and Safe access of clean water. After completion of drilling the borewells, a Village Water Protection Group (VWPG) was formed by selecting beneficiary Representatives through their 62689-community participation. They were taught to look into every aspect to protect, do basic repairs and maintenance work for easy smooth operations of equitable water supply to all households in each village. They are taught to make all the water users in the village to be a part of Community Based Water Resource Enhancers by conserving water resources for rational and sustainable use of water. All the inhabitants were Sensitized, Constructed Platforms surrounding Borewell, dug Rain Harvesting Pits (RHPs) and fenced them.
