"Sustainable Fields, Stronger Futures"
Pests and pesticides contribute to the major economic and ecological problems affecting the farmers, crops and their living environment. To overcome this situation we trained 1256 Farmers (662 male and 594 female Farmers). They were sensitized about the ill effects of chemical fertilizers and pesticides on crops, soil and environment, human and animal health. Apart from that we have sensitized them through cultural activities, video shows and lectures by the experts in the field of agriculture.
The small and marginal farmers have been benefited from the organic farming activities, awareness generation programmes, capacity building trainings, market support fund, Livelihood, Literacy, Marketing and other related programmes/services.
